We sure do! Call and make an appointment with us. We prefer to meet you and your hair so we can give you the right advice and an accurate quote. We hate surprises when it comes to hair!

Evenings always go first. That 9-5 grind got us all. So if these times are best for you, allow a 2 week wait time for a booking. Day time appointments are often more flexible.

Hells yes it does!!!!! If you are using a supermarket shampoo and conditioner it is actually dangerous. Bleach can react harmfully to the hair. Your colour WILL wash out quicker!

The main ingredient in most supermarket/cheap shampoos and conditioner is silicone. It coats your hair and inhibits the lightening and colouring process in a harmful way. This is a nasty, nasty ingredient.

You will be asked what you are using. Don’t worry if you ARE, we can recommend a salon grade product. We postpone your appointment two weeks, use the good stuff and you are good to go!

Babe, we got you!!! Let’s meet in salon to have a chat! Making a hair plan, starting with home products and a cut can be the BEST first steps. Healthy hair is beautiful hair. We will start the journey to recovery and hair dreams together!

No problem at all!!! Within 2 weeks of having your colour done…….please please please please call our front desk or email  hello@shaghair.com.au Sometimes it can be the slightest tweak. Often colour mishaps are a breakdown in communication. We CAN and WILL always make the necessary adjustment to your hair complimentary. There are no hard feelings, we just want you to feel A MILLION BUCKS! It would hurt us more if you didn’t tell us.

Healthy hair is beautiful hair. We use O&M Cor restore! Plex is added to lightener to protect your hair during the lightening process. This is built into your quote for all lightening services. We use it in every lightening service. You want the best result and so do we!! There are no hidden surprises when it comes to the price. 

We love to hang out but are always conscious of your time. A hair cut is minimum 1 hour, basic colour 1.5 – 2 hours, any lightening can be from 2.5 – 4.5 hours min, and for a BIG job or thick hair 4.5 – 5.5 hours min.

PLEASE, PLEASE tell us if you are on a time limit prior to your appointment starting. 

We are glad you asked. YES! For all clients, BIG colour appointments and sadly clients who have cancelled more than once last minute. If you cancel within a 24 hour period you will lose your deposit.

If you reschedule with 48 hours notice we will transfer your $50 deposit with your appointment.

YES YES YES YES PLEASE! We can get a little stalkery if you don’t. If we know you are 100% coming it makes our lives a lot easier. We really appreciate people who value us too.

Hey shit happens we get it! If you cancel last minute once, we are cool. If you become a serial last minute canceller, we will ask you to pay a $50 holding deposit before we can book you in next time.

The best FREE parking is alongside Townsen Oval in Mitchell Street. It’s less than a 5 minute stroll to Shag.
